The quaint village of Westernville takes even the most
hardened city folk back to the days of horse and carriage, the
Black River canal, and the sounds of children playing in the streets.
Westernville and the Swan Homestead is quiet, quaint, pleasant
and inviting. Choose from 2 wonderfully decorated rooms and a
third "spare room that can be added to either room for extra
space. All rooms look out over various gardens, well manicured
lawns, and other homes and buildings of Historic interest in Westerville.
If you prefer shade and relaxation, the large private
deck or courtyard is perfect for a leisurely breakfast outside
or in. All rooms have private baths.
The local area sports many unique activities. The Delta
Lake State Park is 2 miles from the home and your nights stay
comes with a complimentary pass (in season) to enjoy the beauty
and water activities of the Park while you are with us!
Across the street is Woods Valley, a wonderful Ski
and Snowboarding Recreation area that is always having events
(in season).
The Swan Home is located at the gateway to the Adirondack
Park and in the rear of the property you can explore the old canal
bed and various locks of the Black River canal system as it passes
right through the Swan Homestead property.
Study the techniques used for constructing the canal
and locks, take a short bike ride along Route 46 and see and experience
the days and history of the old Canal system. There are many locks
within walking distance, and many more within biking or driving
distance.
Visit Munson Williams Proctor Art Institute, Turning
Stone Casino, Madison-Bouckville Antique District, F. X. Matt
Brewery, Vernon Downs Racetrack, Lake Ontario, and NYS Wine Country
is only 2 hours away!

The rate for each additional person is $15.
Reservations are guaranteed on a credit card.
We accept Checks, MasterCard, Visa, Discover, Diner's Club and
American Express.
Cancellations must be made at least one week prior to scheduled
stay to receive a refund.
In case of a cancellation less than one week prior to scheduled
stay, the credit card will be charged the value of that night's
stay.
A full breakfast is included with room rate.
We accommodate guest pets.
2-night minimum some weekends.
Smoking is not allowed indoors.
